{{The Eastern Police Spokesperson, Senior Superintendent (SSP) Benoit Nsengiyumva has warned residents in Bugesera District against illegal mining which he said is not only a criminal act but may lead to loss of lives.<\/p>\n
The warning comes following the recent case Bugesera District, Rweru sector where a man died after cliff of the close site where he was mining illegally in Muyoboro Village, curved in.<\/p>\n
SSP Nsengiyumva said the incident was reported by a security guard at the site.<\/p>\n
\u201cIllegal mining is not only a criminal act but also leads to loss of lives, which we can\u2019t afford to continue,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He appealed to the general public to fight the dangerous acts and report those involved.}}<\/p>\n
