The two plants will have a combined installed capacity of 148.5MW, the company said in a statement.<\/p>\n
The first 82.5MW plant would be installed in Paleisheuwel, Western Cape, while the second 66MW plant would be built at Tom Burke.<\/p>\n
According to the agreement, the Italian company\u2019s subsidiary TerniaEnergy Projects will carry out all engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities as well as operations and maintenance (O&M). Panel and inverter supplies are also included in the contract.<\/p>\n
However, the deal is subject to approval by the European utility company and the South African government, local reports added.<\/p>\n
