{"id":15326,"date":"2014-07-08T07:56:09","date_gmt":"2014-07-08T07:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/police-detains-nurse-for-raping-patient\/"},"modified":"2014-07-16T05:41:10","modified_gmt":"2014-07-16T05:41:10","slug":"police-detains-nurse-for-raping-patient","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/police-detains-nurse-for-raping-patient\/","title":{"rendered":"Police Detains Nurse for Raping Patient"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{{Police in Kirehe district is holding a nurse identified as Mporebuke Etienne 42 in connection with allegedly raping a patient.}}<\/p>\n<p>The suspect Mporebuke is being detained at Nyakarambi Police station pending further investigations.<\/p>\n<p>The Patient whose names have been withheld on request was in the Nurse\u2019s room where she was being diagnosed by her attacker who later locked the room and raped her.<\/p>\n<p>During the attack, the patient made an alarm which attracted guards at the facility that swiftly arrived to rescue but found the room she was in had been locked.<\/p>\n<p>After a while Mporebuke is said to have opened the door and his victim walked out crying saying she had been raped.<\/p>\n<p>Police was immediately alerted and arrived to seize the rapist currently under police custody.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Uwilingiyemungu Jean Nepo who heads Kirehe district hospital confirmed the incidence saying one of the Nurses identified as Mporebuke Etienne had been arrested in connection with raping a patient.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-6362 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/mny.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>{{Police in Kirehe district is holding a nurse identified as Mporebuke Etienne 42 in connection with allegedly raping a patient.}} The suspect Mporebuke is being detained at Nyakarambi Police station pending further investigations.
