According to reports, Meriam Ibrahim gave birth to her second child while shackled to the floor of her prison cell. <\/p>\n

Ibrahim told The Guardian recently that she gave birth in chains and could not open her legs.<\/p>\n

She said something had happened to the baby and expressed fears she (baby) might in the future need support to walk.<\/p>\n

The Telegraph quoted Ibrahim as saying prison authorities refused to remove shackles on her legs.<\/p>\n

She said her daughter had been left physically disabled \u2013 but the extent of the disability would not be clear until she was older. <\/p>\n
