Djumatatu Ibrahim, 34, allegedly offered a bribe of Rwf10, 000 to an officer on duty a to inspect his vehicle ahead of others who came before him.<\/p>\n
The suspect is currently detained at Gasaka.<\/p>\n
Chief Superintendent of Police Hubert Gashagaza, Police spokesperson for Southern region lauded the officer for acting professionally adding that corruption is no mercy to any officer caught in corruption.<\/p>\n
He also warned drivers and the general public against such illegal illegal tendencies.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you have a problem, address it to concerned parties because the solution will be got for you other than offering a bribe. Corruption is a serious offence and anyone caught indulging in such will face the wrath of the law,” CSP Gashagaza warned.<\/p>\n
