\u201cAs bombs struck the village of Farandalla on June 16, two hit the MSF hospital there,\u201d MAF said in a press statement released on Tuesday adding that five people were wounded in the village and one MSF staff member was injured at the hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are shocked that a medical facility can be bombed, especially since it was clearly identified with a flag and a cross on the roof,\u201d said MSF Head of Mission Brian Moller. \u201cWe also had previously communicated the hospital\u2019s position to the authorities in Khartoum.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sudanese army and government militia since target rebel positions in South Kordofan where they captured several positions held by the SPLM-N fighters. However, the attacks continue as they aim to dislodge the insurgents from their headquarters in Kauda.<\/p>\n
