\nMr Habinshuti had appealed the order on May 26 claiming he was not a senior official of the Genocide regime.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was not a senior official,\u201d Habinshuti said during an interview in the living room of his family\u2019s modest semi-detached home in this southern Ontario city.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was a civil servant \u2014 private secretary to the prime minister.\u201d<\/p>\n
