Every last Saturday of the month , Rwandans engage in communal work \u2018umuganda\u2019 that benefits their communities.<\/p>\n
This year as part of the 20th commemoration of the genocide , Rwandans around the world are invited to participate by taking part also in Global Umungada .<\/p>\n
In Canada, CARY Montreal in collaboration with Rwanda PAGE ( Association of Relatives and friends of the victims of the genocide, the DRM ( Rwandan Diaspora in Montreal ) and Rwanda footbal club decided to share in two ways:<\/p>\n
By providing assistance to the Kangaroo House whose mission is to provide emergency services and frontline children whose parents live with temporary problems while supporting parents.<\/p>\n
Also , for the sake of being present to the Rwandan community in Montreal , they will offer their assistance to three families in the community in various ways according to their needs .<\/p>\n
Umuganda will start Saturday, March 29 from 10:00 to 17:00 <\/p>\n
