{Bolaji-Abdullahi-presents-the-FIFA-World-Cup-to-Jonathan}<\/p>\n

{{Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan has sacked the Youth and Sports Minister, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi Wednesday in a cabinet reshuffle.}}<\/p>\n

A move many could consider to be \u2018wrong and ill-timed\u2019 given that the FIFA World Cup in Brazil is just three months away.<\/p>\n

Dr Tamuno Danagogo is to take charge of the Ministry with immediate effect, as directed by the President. He is one of the eleven newly-sworn in ministers.<\/p>\n

The Swearing-in Ceremony took place at the Council Chambers of the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.<\/p>\n

The new ministers with their portfolios are :-<\/p>\n

Senator Musiliu Obanikoro \u2013 Minister of State for Defense<\/p>\n

Mohammed Wakil -Minister of State for Power<\/p>\n

Alhaji Abduljelili Adesiyan \u2013 Minister of Police Affairs<\/p>\n

Ambassador Aminu Wali \u2013 Minister of Foreign Affairs<\/p>\n

Lawrencia Laraba Mallam \u2013 Minister of Environment<\/p>\n

Dr Tamuno Danagogo \u2013 Minister of Sports<\/p>\n

Mrs Akon Eyakenyi \u2013 Minister of Land & Housing<\/p>\n

Hajia Asabe Asmau Ahmed\u2013 Minister of State for Agriculture<\/p>\n

Gen. Aliyu Gusau \u2013 Minister of Defense<\/p>\n

Boni Haruna \u2013 Minister of Youth Development<\/p>\n

Dr Khaliru Alhassan \u2013 Minister of State for Health<\/p>\n

The President said new ministers will also be named next week.<\/p>\n
