She is a law student at the University of Toronto.<\/p>\n
The joyful Sharamanzi said, \u201cI am happy I did and I truly believe the sky is the limit for me. I want to use the title in the next year to promote causes I am passionate about such as crime prevention.\u201d<\/p>\n
She noted that the 1994 Genocide against ethnic Tutsi\u2019s in Rwanda which claimed over a million lives, inspired her to study law.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Genocide in my native Rwanda has inspired me to become a human rights lawyer to be an international citizen that will not allow genocides to happen in my lifetime,\u201d Sharamanzi noted. <\/p>\n
Sharamanzi is the first Rwandan to win the crown since establisment of the pageant started 15 years ago. <\/p>\n
