    Bye Bye Bikinis: Miss World Pageant Ditches Swimsuit Portion

    {For the first time in 63 years, the Miss World organization has announced that it will no longer have a swimsuit competition in their pageants, reports E! Online.
    }

    “The organization has decided to take itself out of the swimsuit world because it isn’t the path they’re trying to take,” Chris Wilmer, the national director of Miss World America/Miss United States organization, said. “It’s not just a beauty contest, it’s ‘beauty with a purpose’. There didn’t seem to be a purpose to have the swimsuit.”

    I know many men that would argue a purpose. The purpose of seeing beautiful women parade around in bikinis. This is the exact reason why the organization has decided to nix the event. Wilmer says the women competiting in the pageant should be known for their outstanding moral characters.

    “Miss World should be a spokesperson who can help a community. She’s more of an ambassador, not a beauty queen. It’s more about the outreach and what a woman could do with a title like Miss World,” Wilmer told ABC News.

    The choice to make the pageant more lifestyle oriented, instead of a beauty contest, shows the organization’s yearning to modernize a old practice. Beauty pageants have been around for a long time and the swimsuits have been there the entire time.

    Idris and Samantha hook up in Tanzania

    {Great memories they spent together in the Big Brother house made Samantha fly from South Africa to Tanzania to celebrate Idris’s victory.}

    During Big Brother Hotshots, we noticed how Samantha showed much love and affection to Idris and we wondered if there could be more than what we saw however Idris turned back the love in return and the two became best friends.

    At the beginning, the two did not spend much time together as Idris was busy pursuing Goitse and Ellah while Samantha was never as passionate about the photographer as she is now. She quickly became preoccupied in the second week of the show, initially as the head of house. In the third week, she was seen allowing more time for herself and Idris to talk and bond. Things then escalated as the two could be seen on each other’s beds in the house until she was evicted in week six.

    Fast forward on Monday 15th December 2014 very excited Idris welcomed the South African beauty to his country Tanzania and it looks like Christmas has already begun for the two.

    Samantha often simply referred to the Big Brother Hotshots winner as her “little brother”. But with Goitse and Ellah out of the picture, it’s fascinating to see how far they’ll go.

    The same to Idris, he referred Ellah and Goitse as girls that he had feelings for and he gave them that special place in his life however Samantha is described as his best friend according to the conversation Idris had with Biggie while still in the house on 13th November 2014 in the dairy room.

    Besides Idris and Ellah’s love that attracted the BBA’S traffic, we will never forget the relationships that moved in the Big Brother House, Mira of Mozambique with Luis of Namibia , Sheilah of Botswana and Nhlanhla of South Africa, ,JJ and Samantha from South Africa, and Laveda of Tanzania was kind of confused on each guy in the house because she never expressed his feelings towards any instead she shared her love to all.

    Idris and Samantha are spending quite much time together and we wonder how JJ will feel about this because she was in crayz love with the South African Queen
