{The Primus Guma Guma annual competition is back again in its fifth season and the top 10 artists, who will participate were revealed this last weekend.}

Among the 16 artists who had been selected, only 10 were to continue the journey of PGGSS season 5, the help of judges who would criticize, analyze and see who really deserves to continue according to the vocal capability, popularity, stage management among others was needed to clear things .

Judge Lion Imanzi, Tonzi and Aimable Twahirwa after seeing all the 16 performances from artists confirmed that only the 10 would continue however the others who did not succeed had tried their best.

The selected artistes who will be taking part in PGGSS 5 are TNP, Dream Boys, Knowless, Active, Bruce Melody, Bull Dogg, Senderi International Hit, Jules Sentore, Paccy and Rafiki.

It was obvious that not all of them would proceed. Those who went through could not believe it either, despite of the great performances they had done Social Mula, Jody, Queen Cha, Danny Nanone, Nasoon and Young Grace they were not lucky enough to compete for PGGSS season 5.

The first road show takes place on the 21 March while the finale is expected on August 15. Whereas PGGSS was conducting 15 shows previously, Season Five will have 17.

Chris Brown is headed for family court, where his baby mama is now in danger of raking in a lot less in child support because of her big mouth.

Sources connected with Brown tell TMZ … the singer didn’t know he was the father of 9-month-old Royalty until last month, when Nia Guzman dropped the news. We’re told Chris quickly made a deal with her where he would pay monthly child support.

Sources say Chris is forking out substantially more than he’d be required to pay if a judge ordered formal child support. There’s a scale on how much a parent pays, based largely on income. We’re told Chris upped that amount and in return demanded that she keep her lips sealed.

We know Chris now believes Nia has been leaking stories and talking about their relationship. As a result, our sources say his lawyers are now preparing legal docs, in which he will ask a judge for an order requiring him to pay child support. It sounds strange, but he’ll pay less than he does now.

{A gospel singer Irakiza Gilbert going by the name of Roi G on stage ,is alleging that he is going to do his best to make more achievements in his music by getting his tunes till overseas.}

Besides the already confirmed BBA Hotshots he is still in discussions with the fellow housemates so that he gathers all the 24 in Kigali however it will all be budgeted according to the sponsors.

Frankie is realizing his 1st album named ‘Alive to Love’ after he attained the Big Brother Africa competition.

On this day he will be staging his maiden music along with Kidum Kibido one of the most admired artist in the region.

Kidum is a celebrated musician in the region having featured alongside many Rwandan artist including Miss Jojo, Frankie, Alpha Rwirangira among others.

On the other hand, students will get opportunities for exhibiting their various talents such as singing’ dancing, doing comedies and more, Mani Martin who is a Mount Kenya student in journalism will be there performing as well.

The event will start at 4h P.M on Friday.

{Ugandan Media have reported that crowned Miss Rwanda 2015 Kundwa Doriane is a Ugandan citizen.}

Kundwa Doriane was Crowned Miss Rwanda 2015 on Saturday the 21st Feb in an event that attracted thousands of Rwandans and foreigners at Kigali Serena Hotel.

After this beauty pageant won her 14 contestants, rumors all over Uganda spread that she is a beautiful Ugandan crowned Miss Rwanda however she has never reacted on this issue.

BigEye reported, Kundwa Doriane will be parting in Uganda to celebrate her victory with her former friends and students in Makerere University,

The Chimpreports confirmed that the Rwandan Beauty Kundwa Doriane is a Ugandan by nationality who was crowned Miss Rwanda and they insist she has lived in this country for long.

Speaking to Laurent Makuza head of culture department in MINISPOC he denied the rumors and confirmed the nationality of the Rwandan beauty Queen.

He said, “we should not trust in rumors especially those reported by Paparazi, Kundwa Doriane is a Rwandese and that is one of the most important criteria that we follow before the girl is put in the competition”.

She is a Rwandese with a national identity which is a good confirmation of her nationality, he added.

Doriane Kundwa, a 19-year-old secondary leaver in MBC was representing the Northern Province.

Kundwa who also won the Miss Popularity title, was followed by Kigali City beauty queen Vanessa Raissa Uwase and Lynca Akacu Uwse from the Eastern Province.

The documentary shows young people aged 18 to 25 years in a precarious situation and will air on Teva in early April.

{A powerful trio formed by President Barack Obama, pop star Katy Perry and a survivor took their fight against domestic abuse to the Grammy Awards on Sunday.}

They exhorted artistes to use their power to stop violence against women.

Obama appeared at music’s biggest night via a pre-recorded video, stating that nearly one in five women in America has been a victim of rape or attempted rape.

He also said that one in four women in America had experienced domestic violence.

“It is not OK and it has to stop.

“Artistes have a unique power to change minds and attitudes and getting us talking and thinking about what matters,” he said.

Obama asked the millions of viewers of the CBS telecast to go to the site ItsOnUs.org to make a pledge to stop violence.

“And to the artistes at the Grammys tonight, I ask you to ask your fans to do it too,” he added.

The hashtag #ItsOnUs began trending within minutes on Twitter.

Obama was followed by a survivor of domestic violence, Brooke Axtell, who took the Grammy stage and explained how her ex-boyfriend threatened to kill her, and how she made excuses for his anger and abuse.

“If you are in a relationship with someone who does not honour or respect you, I want you to know you are worthy of love. Please reach out for help,” Axtell said.

Katy Perry then appeared on stage in an austere white gown to perform her inspirational survival anthem, “By the Grace of God”.

Her performance stood in contrast to her headlining act at last Sunday’s Super Bowl half-time show, which was high on spectacle.

However, it made no reference to domestic abuse, the polemical issue that plagued the National Football League last year.

The Grammys were once famously overshadowed by a startling case of domestic abuse.

On the eve of the 2009 Grammys, R&B singer, Chris Brown, who was nominated for three Grammys this year, beat up then girlfriend and singer, Rihanna.

Both were in attendance on Sunday, with Rihanna performing shortly after Perry.
