African integration foreseen by 2063, says ambassador

{Speaking to Angolan journalists that are in Ethiopia to cover the 24th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU), scheduled for the 30th and 31st of this month, the diplomat stated that discussions will focus on the theme “2015 year of women’s empowerment and development towards Africa 2063 Agenda”.}

The diplomat pointed out that the Africa 2063 agenda is of wide range and its implementation will begin at the level of sub-regions and only after that will move to the next and advanced stage of integration, with a common market, currency, external, economic, monetary and social policies.

The ambassador stressed that the Summit will examine the issue of peace and security on the continent, with emphasis on the old and new conflicts, including terrorism committed by Boko Haram, the situation in Western Sahara and other aspects.
