Two Burundian Mayors have fled to Rwanda last week, amid protests against President Pierre Nkurunziza running for a third term.
The two are Niyonsaba Gaudose and Ndereyimana Basile from the districts of Gisagara and Mushiha of Cankuzo Province.
They passed through Bugesera Border point on 1st May 2015.
Rwanda is hosting more than 20,000 Burundians who fled their country.
Meanwhile Ntawukuliryayo Frederic, the spokesperson of Rwandan Ministry in charge of refugees on Monday said no information about where the two mayors are now, but, believes the same source; both mayors may have been received by their friends living in Kigali.
