President Museveni has congratulated Mityana Diocese for contributing not only to the development of the Diocese but also of the nation by constructing 2 multi-billion students’ hostels at the Church of Uganda founded Ndejje University whose proceeds will also be partly used to cater for the clergy.
“I salute the Diocese of Mityana for satisfying the need of accommodation for the students of the University and also for financially empowering the Diocese to cater for the welfare of the clergy,” the President said.
Mr. Museveni made the remarks Thursday after commissioning 2 new hostels at Ndejje University in Katikamu South Constituency Luweero district. The President first commissioned NOAH’S ARK Hostel for male students. The facility was built by Mityana Diocese.
