On September 18, President Museveni fired his close ally Amama Mbabazi and replaced him with Dr Ruhakana Rugunda.
The caucus will also focus on the strategies that should be executed if NRM is to triumph in 2016 general elections.
Insiders have revealed that the caucus will move to fault the axed premier for the disputes that erupted after NRM party primaries in the run-up to the 2011 parliamentary elections.
Amama fell out with the President when he moved to oppose Museveni’s sole candidature in the 2016 presidential elections.
